St. Aldates House is our accommodation for Sixth Form students who want to live in the heart of Oxford. Students will be close to shops, restaurants and all that the city centre has to offer.

This centrally located boarding house gives students the chance to live independently while being supported by resident houseparents and clear daily routines. With supervised study sessions, shared spaces to relax and socialise, and easy public transport to the Sixth Form buildings, students can balance school life with city living.

Hayley

Meet our Head of House

Hello, I'm Hayley and I am the Head of House at St Aldates. I started working at d'Overbroeck's in August 2023. It has been a wonderful experience so far, and I am really proud of the friendly and positive community that has developed at St Aldates.  

I have several years of boarding experience, having worked as a house parent at schools in Malaysia and Cambridge. I also worked as a writing centre tutor during my time as a graduate student at The American University in Cairo.

My boarding philosophy centres on the fact that boarding is truly a home away from home, so I strive to help students to feel welcome and settled into their new life in Oxford.
