In Sixth Form, our students delve deeper into their chosen subjects. As they prepare for university – and start thinking about careers – they become specialists in their fields, typically studying for three or four A-levels.
Your child can also follow the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), which is the equivalent to half an A-level. This gives them the chance to specialise in a topic or area they’re passionate about.
At d’Overbroeck’s, we offer a choice of
37 A-level subjects. Unlike most sixth form boarding schools, we don’t have fixed option blocks, which means your child can study the subjects they want in any combination. Our timetable is purposefully structured around our students’ preferences, offering an exceptional degree of flexibility.
Choosing the right subjects is crucial to academic success, and we’ll guide your child through the process. We’ll encourage them to think broadly, even if they have set ideas about what they want to do, and help them to identify higher education and career destinations.
