Chair of Governors, Nord Anglia Education
Richard has been involved in Education for 15 years. He spent a number of years working in School Marketing and Admissions before becoming the Operations Director of a School in Singapore where he was responsible for the School facilities, finances, HR and admissions.

In 2015, Richard became the Managing Director of the International Curriculum Association which designs and develops curriculum for over 1000 Schools globally. During this time, he led the development of the International Early Years Curriculum. In 2021, Richard became the Managing Director for NAE’s Schools in Latin America which involved governance responsibilities for 11 Schools across 7 countries. Since 2024, Richard is the Regional Managing Director for NAE’s 17 Schools in Europe.

Andrew Gillespie
Vice Chair, Nord Anglia Education
Andrew Gillespie is an experienced education leader currently working on schools’ integration projects and serving as a school governor. Formerly Vice Principal at d’Overbroeck’s and Principal of Oxford International College, he also helped establish Oxford International College, Brighton. 
George Ghantous
George Ghantous - Proprietor’s Representative, Nord Anglia Education

He started his working career in 1993 as an engineer in the oil and gas industry, followed by a successful career in the construction industry. In 2006, George moved to a career in investment banking/Private Equity across the Middle East and Southeast Asia markets. In October 2013, George joined Nord Anglia Education as Regional Managing Director for the Middle East & Southeast Asia followed by a brief stint as Regional Managing Director for North America. George is also a member of Nord Anglia’s Executive Committee and has been since 2013. He holds an Executive MA in International Education from King’s College London. Outside of work, George has a keen interest in coaching and was a Board Member of Dubai Little League, a non-profit organisation teaching kids the game of baseball.

Safeguarding Governor, Nord Anglia Education
Sue has held a number of leadership positions across NAE, including Principal roles at The British School, BIS Hanoi, and now currently Principal of Warsaw.
Inderjit Dehal
Inderjit Dehal - Education Governor

Trained as a lawyer, Inderjit created and led a human rights and equality NGO before joining Central Government, where he headed up the London Challenge – a celebrated city-wide school improvement programme, which rapidly strengthened London’s schools. As Director of Education for a national group of schools, Inderjit led their transformation before joining Nord Anglia Education. Over the last 11 years Inderjit has overseen Nord Anglia Education’s programme to improve the quality of our schools. In doing so he has established our Masters and Leadership Programmes, online professional development platform and led our improvement work with individual schools.

Marketing & Communications Governor, Nord Anglia Education

Ben Lewis joined Nord Anglia in 2020 to lead the development of a world-class family experience across the organisation. With over 25 years of international leadership experience, he has a strong track record of developing people and teams to enhance customer experience and drive organisational performance. A commercial leader with a global outlook, Ben has delivered business growth and transformation across multiple regions, specialising in commercial strategy, route-to-market development and organisational design.

Barry Armstrong
Barry Armstrong - Safeguarding Governor
Barry Armstrong brings with him over 30 years of experience in education with particular expertise in child safeguarding. Before joining Nord Anglia Education in 2016 as Head of Safeguarding, Barry worked for the Oxfordshire County Council ensuring the safety of children in an education setting. While working in leadership positions in the public sector, Barry worked with local authorities and a range of private services and schools to identify areas of weakness and target areas for improvement in safeguarding. Barry has extensive experience working with governing bodies and staff groups and has a methodical and clinical approach to ensuring that Nord Anglia Education schools uphold the highest standards in child safety.

Guy joined Nord Anglia in September 2023, responsible for helping the organisation and schools manage the global lease portfolio proactively, supporting best practice in estate and lease transaction management.

Guy joined Nord Anglia in September 2023, responsible for helping the organisation and schools manage the global lease portfolio proactively, supporting best practice in estate and lease transaction management. Guy is a qualified Chartered Surveyor and has over 20 years real estate, with a unique breadth of experience in leasing, development, project management and estate/facilities management. After qualifying and working in commercial leasing and development in the UK. He moved out to Singapore for over 8 years, working across Asia Pacific on real estate transactions, becoming the regional transaction management lead for one of Jones Lang LaSalle’s largest global clients, Procter & Gamble. Guy moved back to the UK in 2014 and spent 9 years as Estate Bursar for Highfield & Brookham School’s 517-acre estate. He was responsible for strategic master planning, operations, health & safety, budgeting, facilities management, the school's sustainability strategy and all capital / refurbishment projects.

Having been a successful independent school Head for over 14 years in all through boarding and day schools, Lynne remains immersed in education enjoying her work as an consultant, coach and mentor and utilising her extensive experience to support and advise school leaders.

Having been a successful independent school Head for over 14 years in all through boarding and day schools, Lynne remains immersed in education enjoying her work as an consultant, coach and mentor and utilising her extensive experience to support and advise school leaders. Lynne is an experienced ISI Inspector, former Chair of the Society of Heads, with previous roles on HMC, ISA and GSA committees, and more recently she has served as the Independent School Policy Specialist for ASCL. She is an experienced school Governor and trustee in both state and independent organisations. Her interests are diverse, and her expertise enables both organisations and individuals to develop.

 

With postgraduate qualifications in Leadership and Management and a strong sporting background Lynne has a supportive, ethical coaching style.  She is a passionate advocate for school improvement, helping individuals, senior teams and organisations to realise their goals and to flourish. Lynne is proud to be serving as a Governor at d’Overbroeck’s Oxford. She admires the ambition and energy evident throughout the school and she brings a wealth of educational experience and sector knowledge to her role as Governor.

From 2016 to 2020, Kate was the Chief Inspector of ISI responsible for the entire end to end inspection process for ISI. As a member of the senior leadership she was the key contributor to strategic planning, evaluation, and professional development initiatives, for maintaining the quality of inspection and the inspector workforce, for providing evidence based insight to raise pupil and student performance, and to represent the professional expertise of ISI at national and international level.
