Chris Bromham

Principal

Chris brings more than two decades of senior leadership experience, having led outstanding day and boarding schools across the UK, South Korea, Dubai and Spain. Passionate about creating environments where every student feels known, valued and inspired to achieve their best, Chris is committed to combining academic excellence with personal growth, helping young people develop the confidence, character and skills they need to thrive in an ever-changing world.

Alasdair MacPherson

Vice Principal (Student Recruitment)

Alasdair is a longstanding member of the d'Overbroeck's community who joined us in 1992. He has held a variety of roles across the school, including Head of Department, Director of Studies, and Head of Sixth Form. As Vice Principal (Student Recruitment), Alasdair uses his in-depth understanding of our ethos and progressive approach to support students in achieving their full potential and ensure they have everything they need to succeed.

Joanne Croft

Vice Principal (Pastoral Care)

With over 25 years of experience in education, Joanne is a linguist by background, fluent in both French and Italian. She has championed the importance of wellbeing as the foundation for academic success, and has extensive experience across both boarding and day schools. Having served as Deputy Head and Head, she brings a wealth of knowledge of the independent school sector and a proven record of leading schools to excellence in both academic and pastoral areas with ISI. At d’Overbroeck’s, and with Joanne’s guidance, we will continue to embrace individuality, celebrate difference, and provide a safe, supportive environment where every student can thrive.

Stephen Creamer

Vice Principal (Staff and Curriculum)

Stephen began his career in Switzerland in the sustainable energy sector before qualifying as a teacher in London, where he quickly advanced to become Head of Chemistry. Now a Vice Principal, he oversees teaching and learning across all three of our sites, ensuring that students benefit from high-quality environments and approaches that accelerate academic progress.

Sarah Parker

Director of Safeguarding and Designated Safeguarding Lead

With over thirty years of dedicated experience in safeguarding and promoting the well-being of children and young people. Sarah brings a wealth of knowledge to creating a safe, nurturing environment where every student feels secure, supported, and able to thrive. Throughout her career, Sarah has gained a wealth of experience fundamental to learning and development, as well as working with students, colleagues, and families to ensure young people are confident to speak up, explore who they are, and grow with resilience in today’s world.

Andrew Colclough

Head of d'Overbroeck's Sixth Form

Andrew Colclough is Head of d’Overbroeck’s Sixth Form and has been a leading figure at the school for over 30 years. With a deep commitment to creating a warm, inclusive and intellectually stimulating environment, Andrew believes that education should empower every student as an individual.

He is passionate about building a culture where students feel happy, valued and supported, enabling them not only to achieve outstanding academic results but also to discover their interests and grow in confidence. Under his leadership, the Sixth Form continues to combine high academic ambition with exceptional pastoral care, ensuring that every student is challenged, inspired and encouraged on their own unique journey.

Nick Haines

Head of d'Overbroeck's Senior School

After gaining a Master’s in Mathematics and Philosophy from the University of Oxford, Nick joined d’Overbroeck’s in 2010. Nick initially taught maths to our Year 7-13 students before becoming our Head of Senior School. Nick is passionate about delivering an exceptional academic education infused with engaging experiences that bring learning to life.

Mikaela Parker

Deputy Director of Student Wellbeing

With over twenty years’ experience in UK and international education, Mikaela is a biology specialist and science teacher. She holds degrees from the Universities of Worcester, Warwick, and Westminster. As former Deputy Head at d’Overbroeck’s, she values learning partnerships, prioritises student wellbeing, and is committed to supporting the unique academic and personal needs of international students.
