Our three-step admissions process

It couldn’t be easier to join our extraordinary community of students, families, and staff.

Start your admissions journey to d’Overbroeck’s by filling in our short online enquiry form. Our friendly admissions team will then get in touch with you to discuss your family’s requirements. They’ll get to know your family and schedule, and answer any questions you may have.

The best way to get a feel for our school is to join us for a tour. We offer in-person and online Open Events throughout the year, where you’ll hear from our brilliant students, meet our teachers, and discover how we embrace each child’s unique talents, passions, and goals.

Next, you’ll need to complete your child’s online application form. You’ll also need to pay our one-off registration fee and send us the following documents:

Once you’ve submitted your form and documents, a member of our team will get in touch with you to discuss next steps

YEARS 7-11

In Years 7-11, we welcome 11 to 16-year-olds from across the UK. Students typically join us in Years 7 and 9, although it is possible to start in Year 8 or Year 10, providing we have spaces available. Your child will be invited to join us for a taster day, where they’ll get a feel for what it’s like to learn here. Prospective students will then take part in a group or individual assessment, which includes a two-hour cognitive abilities test

The International School is open to overseas students aged from 13 to 16. We offer five distinct academic programmes, each of which has specific entry points and requirements. All prospective students will write a short personal statement as part of their application. We’ll then invite your child to sit entrance exams, and interview with our senior leadership team.

Our hugely popular Sixth Form welcomes 16 to 18-year-old day and boarding students. Entry requirements depend on whether your child is a UK or international applicant (overseas students, for example, will need to sit our entrance exams). All applicants will be asked to write a short personal statement as part of their application, and interview with our Sixth Form leadership team.

Every family’s application process is different, so we’d encourage you to get in touch with our admissions team to find out how it’ll work for you.
