Nash House is a friendly boarding house for 18 Year 12 students, supported by a dedicated pastoral team. With a strong sense of community, students live independently while building confidence and lasting friendships. Regular house events, shared routines and attentive staff create a welcoming space where every student feels known, supported and part of the house.

Regular house activities, shared celebrations and traditions (including birthday cakes and international festivals) create a welcoming, lively atmosphere where students quickly feel at home.

Students live in single or twin bedrooms, many with en-suite bathrooms, designed to feel safe, comfortable and homely.

Supervised study periods run from Monday to Thursday evenings, ensuring students have dedicated time and support to focus on their studies.

Each of our boarding houses offers welcoming communal areas such as common rooms and kitchen or dining spaces, helping students relax and socialise.

Majority of our boarding houses are within walking distance of our campuses. For houses located closer to Oxford city centre, transport to campus is provided.

Resident House parents or Heads of House, supported by on-site staff, provide daily (24/7) care and guidance with clear routines and age-appropriate independence.

MEET OUR HEAD OF HOUSE

I came into boarding because working with young people brings me so much joy, and I love being able to encourage and support them each day.

Students often describe me as kind, patient and calm, and I try to live up to that by giving them my time and full attention whenever they need to talk.

My approach is shaped by person‑centred care, listening with empathy and always seeing each student as an individual. The quiet moments - a chat after a long day or a small check‑in - are the ones that matter most to me. When I’m not in the house, you’ll usually find me reading, walking or spending time with my cat.
