You’ll attend weekly sessions focused on developing intellectual curiosity, an understanding of media bias, current affairs and collaborative project skills. Projects help you to discover something new and have ranged from the gender of language to the evolution of rocket technology.

What to expect

  • Intellectual curiosity: We’ll foster your academic inquisitiveness by presenting you with intellectual conundrums. These could be anything; from intellectual games through linguistic/logic challenges to intellectual craft activities.
  • Media: We’ll help you develop an increased awareness of media bias and source reliability. We consider various aspects, from source evaluation to argument deconstruction.
  • Collaboration: Developing your research and presentation skills. Each term has a theme and you’ll submit a proposals for a possible project. We create groups based on the proposals and then you’ll have time in each session to engage in guided research. Finally, you’ll present your findings.
