Students at d’Overbroeck’s, part of the Nord Anglia Education family of schools, are celebrating their GCSE and IGCSE results today.   d'Overbroeck’s Years 7-11 students achieved excellent GCSE results, with 15% of all entries being awarded grade 9s, 38% achieving grades 9-8, and 63% being awarded grades 9-7. “Once again our young people at d’Overbroeck’s have made us proud”, comments Jane Cockerill, Head of Years 7-11. “Returning to the exam format, after the past couple of unusual years, our students showed real commitment and determination, which has been reflected in these great outcomes.” Year 11 international students at d’Overbroeck’s International School also achieved great IGCSE results, with 25% of all entries being awarded grade 9s, 44% achieving grades 9-8, and 27% of Higher Project Qualification (HPQ) entries being awarded A*-A. “We are delighted with our students’ IGCSE results”, comments Ted McGrath, Head of The International School. “It’s been lovely having the students here in person again for most of this academic year, and the positivity with which they approached their exams has clearly paid off. We’re especially proud that most of these students took their IGCSEs in one year rather than the usual two, which makes their achievement even more amazing.” d'Overbroeck’s students are now looking ahead to September and preparing for their future studies.
