Housemaster / Housemistress
We are looking for an engaging and dynamic Housemaster/Housemistress to join our boarding provision at Islip House, our brand new 61 bedroom boarding house. The post will commence in September 2018, although the capacity for a settling in period towards the end of August would be appreciated.
The Housemaster/Housemistress is responsible for the general welfare and personal development of the Sixth Form boarders in Islip House and for creating a secure and nurturing environment. The new Sixth Form boarding house is situated directly on the Banbury Road overlooking the brand new 333 Banbury Road Sixth Form site.
We are seeking to make a new Houseparent appointment, for our Boarding House at 106 Banbury Road, Nash House. This is an exciting opportunity to join the pastoral team at our International Section, with effect from September 2018.
We would welcome applications from those who would also like to take on a teaching role in addition to the below responsibilities, particularly within our International Section.
Part Time Cleaning Operative – Boarding Accommodation
We are looking to appoint someone to work within our Facilities & Maintenance Department, providing comprehensive cleaning services and logistical support across the school’s boarding accommodation.
Peripatetic Valved Brass Teacher
We are seeking to increase our team of part-time music teachers to join our music department. In particular, we are looking for teachers who are able to teach Valve Brass instruments.
Principal Teacher of Computer Science
The successful candidate will have sole responsibility for the teaching of all Sixth Form students, under the line management of a senior member of staff.
This is a full-time position, with an ideal start date of April 2018, although candidates who wish to start in September 2018 will also be considered.
Teacher of Geography
We are seeking to appoint a teacher of Geography, to teach across Years 7-11 and the Sixth Form. Depending on the candidate we may consider some teaching at our International Section where iGCSE is taught to years 10 and 11.
Teacher of Media Studies (P/T)
We are seeking to appoint a part-time teacher of Media Studies, to teach across our Sixth Form. The advertised post is part-time (approximately 0.5 or 0.6 of full-time), but the School is always willing to consider those seeking a full-time, or larger part-time position, if they are able to offer other A Level teaching subjects.
Teacher of Physics
We are seeking to appoint a teacher of Physics, teaching Physics and Science throughout the school. This is a full-time post starting in September 2018.
