Congratulations to all our Year 11 students on their GCSE and IGCSE results!

All our students have done incredibly well these past two years in challenging circumstances, which should be highly commended.

  • 43% entries awarded grades 9-8
  • 69% entries awarded grades 9-7
  • 35% of students achieved all grades 9-7

And our Year 11 international students have achieved:

Among those celebrating are:

Ibrahim and Magnus

Ibrahim (right) has achieved 1 grade 9, 1 grade 8, 4 grade 7s and 4 grade 6s and Magnus (left) is celebrating 1 grade 9, 4 grade 8s and 4 grade 7s.

Elena

Elena is one of our Year 11 international students and is celebrating 7 grade 9s, after completing her IGCSE studies at The International School in just one year. She’s really excited to be joining the Sixth Form in September as one of our Academic Scholars too.

“Congratulations to all our students on these fantastic GCSE and IGCSE results. We are hugely proud of all our students and the work they put in over the year. This is a reflection of our dedicated staff at both Years 7-11 and The International School too, who continue to raise the standards of academic and pastoral care year on year. Well done and congratulations all!”

Jonathan Cuff, Principal

“Once again our young people at d’Overbroeck’s have made us proud. Our students have shown real commitment and determination and have universally worked hard to achieve some stunning outcomes.”

Jane Cockerill, Head of Years 7-11

“We are delighted with our students’ IGCSE results for 2021. Given that the past year has been particularly challenging and that most of these students took their IGCSEs in one year rather than the usual two, this is an extraordinary achievement. We wish all our Year 11 students the very best with their next steps and hope they will keep in touch and visit us in the near future. Very well done!”

Ted McGrath, Head of The International School

We wish all our Year 11 students the very best with their future studies, and if you’re joining us in our Sixth Form we look forward to seeing you in September!
