Congratulations to all our Upper Sixth students on their results this year!

“I’m delighted to report that 22% of our students received an A*, 57% of our students received an A or A* which is up on the previous two years. Of course, it’s not all about those stellar headlines; it’s also about those students who achieve the fantastic B grades and C grades who get to go to their university of choice.

We are hugely proud of all our students and the work they put in over the year, both when they were here for the first part of the year and after lockdown, when they continued to engage in our online learning programme. So we’re delighted for all our students and that we’re able to share that with them this year. Well done all!”

Jonathan Cuff, Principal

“We are really pleased by our 2020 A-Level results, a fitting tribute to the resilience and commitment of our excellent students.

In the midst of so much uncertainty, we are delighted that our students now have the clarity and confidence an excellent set of A-Level results bring.

There are so many brilliant examples of outstanding individual success in amongst a general level of excellence and I can’t wait to see what they all go on to achieve next.”

Alasdair MacPherson, Head of Sixth Form

“It has been a pleasure for us to work with our Sixth Formers over the last two years and to see them develop their skills and interests.

We hope they leave ready for the next stage of their lives and wish them well for university and their careers.  They have demonstrated remarkable resilience in dealing with disruptions to their studies, they have adapted to new ways of learning and have developed their IT skills. This will serve them well for their futures.

Importantly, they have approached their time in the sixth form, even in the final few weeks online with their usual enthusiasm, a positive approach, creativity and good humour. We will miss them but will keep in touch and will enjoy hearing of their future success.”

Andrew Gillespie, Academic Director

Once again, congratulations to all our Year 13 students on your hard work and dedication during these challenging times. We wish you all the best in your future endeavours and can’t wait to see what you do next!
