WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO

At d’Overbroeck’s, we treat every student as an individual. Immersed in an education as unique as they are, your child will discover their talents, follow their passions, and become a confident, independent learner.

Delivered across three main campus sites, our progressive approach carefully blends the highest British academic standards with an emphasis on fun, self-expression, and exhilarating learning experiences. Our relaxed and inclusive environment is a place where every student can truly be themselves, too.

Combined, this lays the foundations for your child to achieve more than they ever thought possible, including impressive GCSE and A-level results that open doors to the UK’s top universities.

HISTORY AND HERITAGE

A leading independent school in Oxford, d’Overbroeck’s was founded in 1977. We started life as a sixth form college, initially helping students who had struggled elsewhere to pass their A-levels. Our staff recognised that building confidence and prioritising wellbeing enabled learners to achieve more than they had previously thought possible.

This ethos underpins our holistic educational philosophy today. Across three main sites – Years 7-11, The International School, and a thriving Sixth Form – we nurture happy, independent learners who achieve incredible academic and personal success.

As a school, we’re also part of the Nord Anglia Education global family, which brings many benefits. These include access to world-leading education technology and award-winning teacher training programmes, as well as exclusive collaborations with The Juilliard School and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
