A-Level results

Did you know? We're the top school in Oxfordshire for progress at A-Level... again! In 2019, we stayed top of the table for the 3rd year running. What's more, this puts us in the top 1% of all schools in England for progress.

Alasdair MacPherson, Head of Sixth Form says:

2019 was another excellent year for our A-Level results, demonstrating the outstanding progress our students make each year.

Once again our young people at d’Overbroeck’s have shown us how all their hard work has paid off during their two years at our Sixth Form.

Congratulations to all and all the best for your future endeavours, whatever and wherever they may be.

The numbers don’t lie: in 2019, our A-Level results reflected the amazing achievements of our students.

1 19
% grade A*
1 50
% grades A*/A
1 32
% of students achieved 3 or more A*/A grades

Jonathan Cuff, Principal of d'Overbroeck's says:

“Once again we have a large cohort of students achieving excellence in a multitude of different academic subjects. Whilst we will celebrate these results with our students today, and reflect on all their hard work, we will also take time to recognise those achievements that aren’t represented on exam results day; the musicians, sportsmen and women, artists and actors who have competed in national competitions, completed research projects or volunteered for extraordinarily selfless causes throughout the year”.
