d’Overbroeck’s is a leading independent day and boarding school in Oxford, UK. We teach students aged 11-18 across our three school sites: Years 7-11, The International School, and the Sixth Form.
We are consistently ranked among the top schools in the UK for academic progress and we achieve this by encouraging our students to think strategically, analytically, creatively and imaginatively. Our school structure enables students to benefit from everything a modern school has to offer, whilst also learning in specific environments tailored to their studies and age group. Students can take part in whole-school productions, concerts, co-curricular activities and academic programmes. They can access a range of specialist facilities both onsite, including our new Arts Centre, and further afield, such as the University of Oxford’s sport facilities. At the same time, each of our three sites offer a unique and supportive atmosphere in which students can flourish. On Friday 12 May, our personal development staff prepared well-being sessions for our 11i students ahead of the start of the core exam season. They chose from various sessions, including creative Lego building, ‘around the world’ table tennis, daisy chains, meditation, a walk to university park... and maths games. We were lucky to have a beautiful sunny day and they very much enjoyed being outdoors for most of these sessions. The 11is have been working incredibly hard in the run up to their examinations and appreciated the opportunity to have some fun and relax for a small part of their day. We encourage students to consider their mental health and to always ensure that they make some time to have fun and relax with friends. This is a very important ingredient to achieving success. 🌼

The Sixth Form was buzzing with excitement during our incredible Careers Fair! 🎉 The event was filled with engaging workshops, inspiring talks, a fantastic lineup of stands, and valuable networking opportunities. Students in attendance were able to attend... talks and workshops, build relationships with former d'Overbroeck's students and industry professionals, explore industries and study options, and learn about key employability skills. Many of our alumni were there to speak with our students about what they're doing now – including Lina, who left The International School three years ago but flew over from Rome just to attend the event!
