FIVE ACADEMIC PROGRAMMES

The academic team at d’Overbroeck’s has carefully designed each of our five international school programmes so that our students consistently achieve strong outcomes throughout their education. Through our programmes, students develop the cognitive, collaborative and communicative skills they will need for their future careers and adult lives.

At the same time, our programmes enable students to achieve top results in their GCSE and IGCSE exams. Our team will advise students to ensure they choose the most appropriate programme, according to age, academic experience, and any other relevant factors.

Flexibility is central to our academic programmes. This ensures that high-performing students are stretched and there is plenty of support available whenever students need it. It also means that we can meet individual academic needs, for example, if a student has a particular academic interest or is going to be returning to their home country’s education system after studying at d’Overbroeck’s.

The smaller classes mean that teachers can focus on us more than when I was at school in Brazil. We have a lot of interaction with the teachers and they also ask us questions to make us think for ourselves more than just writing down the answers.
