Last Friday Year 7 students had a wonderful day visiting Birmingham Sea Life Aquarium. In their Science lessons they have been learning all about the Great Barrier Reef and the animals that live there so it was a lovely opportunity to come face to face with and see some of these animals in real life!
We were lucky enough to watch the Shark and the Ray feeding talks, and the students were able to get really close up to the rays jumping out the water! The centre also has an amazing 360o glass tunnel, which we were able to walk through to and see all the marine life up close. It was a wonderful day out and everyone had a great time. Year 7 are now working on a new project on The Masai Mara and The Serengeti and already have some big, and rather ambitious, ideas for their next trip… Watch this space!
