“I think d’Overbroeck’s stands out through the genuine (and contagious!) passion teachers have for their subjects and the care and attention they give to each and every student.”

It was definitely getting an offer to read Philosophy, Polictics, and Economics (PPE) at Magdalen College at the University of Oxford. This had been my dream and the reason why I left my home country to study in England. Meanwhile, d’Overbroeck’s taught me a profound love for my subject itself and the beauty of the journey, but the end result was making my longtime dream a reality.
A comparison of conservative European populism (Greece v France).
I intend to go on to study Philosophy, Polictics and Economics (PPE) at Oxford, specialize in polictics and economics and then do a dual master’s degree at Science Po, Paris with an exchange year in the United States. I am open to various potential careers – diplomacy, the European Union or working in an NGO aiming to help developing countries prosper. I want my job to allow me to travel a lot, something I will start doing in Uni and hopefully try a variety of internships abroad.

“My subjects have allowed me to understand how the world around me works, and where I want my part in it to be. I’ve enjoyed drawing parallels between them and seeing connections with my daily life. They helped me discover my interests more specifically and allowed me to look deeper into the things I found most attractive.”
“Studying in Oxford gave me the opportunity of attending some fascinating talks and lectures by incredibly intelligent people who can paint you a picture of the world in a way you haven’t seen it before with some brilliant insight into any field you may be interested in.”
