MUSIC CURRICULAR

Whether we are listening to music, watching TV or playing computer games, music is everywhere. Some people enjoy making music, whether singing or playing, while others simply enjoy listening to it. But however we use music, it plays a big part in our lives.

The Instrumental and Vocal Programme

Significant numbers of students at d’Overbroeck’s choose to enrich their school experience through enrolment in the voice and instrument programme. A range of classical orchestral and rock and jazz instruments as well as voice are catered for every week by our team of experienced peripatetic instrumental teachers.

Students may wish to prepare for external practical and theory exams, or learn to play an instrument for enjoyment. They may wish to extend this by joining one of our school instrumental or choral groups.

Any instrumentalist or singer has the opportunity to perform at school concerts and events.
