We realise that 2020 was a year of educational uncertainty with exams cancelled, learning disrupted and the normal rhythms of the school year changed radically. Whilst we hope 2021 will be much better, the year has started off with the UK in lockdown and schools, once again, learning online. During this last year, d’Overbroeck’s has continued to deliver an outstanding educational experience to all our students, both online and face-to-face. Our admissions team have been conducting all aspects of the admissions process remotely and we still have places available for all entry points.

Our admissions process

If you are interested in joining d’Overbroeck’s for a September 2021 or September 2022 start, we would encourage you to contact our admissions team directly to begin the process. Interviews are being conducted remotely at the moment, and they allow you to speak with the Head of the relevant section of the school you wish to join. Assessment examinations for our Years 7-11 site have now taken place. We may still have places available for September 2021 entry so please do contact our admissions team if you are interested.

Visits and Open Events

Being able to visit and see a school is an important part of the decision-making process. Once we are able, the school will be open for in-person visits again. We have comprehensive visitor protocols which ensure the safety of our students, staff and our visitors. In the meantime, we have recorded virtual tours of our sites which you can view here. We hold regular open events for the three different parts of our School which you can register for here.

Scholarships, Bursaries and Financial Assistance

d’Overbroeck’s offers a wide range of scholarships for students with the attitude and aptitude to be outstanding in their studies and other endeavours. More information about Sixth Form scholarships is available here. We understand that this has been a difficult time financially for families. We are able to offer individually-tailored bursary support on a short or long term basis. We also offer a range of payment plans to help lesson the impact of school fees. Please contact the Head of Admissions and Registry directly to arrange an initial discussion: antony.bounds@doverbroecks.com We remain committed to providing an outstanding, individually-focused education for all our students. We look forward to welcoming you, whether that is online or in person, to all our school has to offer. Very best wishes Antony Head of Admissions and Registry
