Our Biology A level students have once again done extremely well in the latest Biology Olympiad, with over half of them winning some kind of award.
The Royal Society for Biology organised the Intermediate Olympiad for Lower Sixth students at the beginning of June. Students answered an online multiple choice question paper for 60 marks. 8,282 students from 466 schools participated in this test, which covered some GCSE and the Lower Sixth syllabus.
Awards (for d’Overbroeck’s students) went to: Michael, Cleo, Tansy, Xanthia, Patcharipa, Nick, Sina, Kathryn, Alice, Madeleine, Nikola, Hugo, Adam, Matthew, Aili and Hannah. Very well done to all.
This is a high note for Biologists to finish on, and the Biology teaching staff are greatly look forward to teaching these students next year!
