ISI Report 2017
In November 2017 we had a Compliance Inspection by the Independent Schools Inspectorate. This inspection focuses on areas such as students’ welfare and safeguarding. A school either meets each of the criteria or it does not. We are delighted that we met all the criteria. For more details you can read the report here.
Our most recent inspection was completed in October 2015. The publishable statement from that report is as follows:
‘The British Council inspected and accredited d’Overbroeck’s in September 2015. The Accreditation Scheme assesses the standards of management, resources and premises, teaching, welfare, and care of under 18s and accredits organisations which meet the overall standard in each area inspected (see www.britishcouncil.org/education/accreditation for details).
‘This private international study centre offers courses in general and academic English and other academic subjects and vacation courses for 11-19 year-olds.
‘Strengths were noted in the areas of staff management, quality assurance, academic staff profile, academic management, course design, learner management, teaching, care of students, accommodation, leisure opportunities and care of under 18s. The inspection report stated that the organisation met the standards of the Scheme.’
