“When black cats prowl and pumpkins gleam, may luck be yours on Halloween“. Happy Halloween!
In good old-fashioned Halloween spirit, on Halloween day, the school was decorated with spiders, webs, and many, many pumpkins carved by our students. Our students had a great time preparing the pumpkins and we think they did a tremendous job, as you can see in our photos.
When it came to masks, our Art teacher, Helen, held a fantastic (yet very scary!) face painting session, bringing out the little monsters in us 🙂
To capture the magic of Halloween, some our students were designated photographers of the day, and we want to thank Kathy (Austin House), Ivy (Morris House) and Riko (Cooper House) for sharing their wonderful photos with us.
After all their hard work, the deliciously spooky Halloween lunch was a well-deserved treat.
“Last Wednesday we were not the friendly, welcoming school we are for the other days of the year. Instead, our students were transformed into witches, vampires, ghouls and ghosts as they celebrated Halloween with their trademark energy and enthusiasm. Students decorated the school in suitably spooky fashion and pumpkin carving was our latest House competition. Cooper claimed the trophy this year and won points for their House. Our catering team created a Spooktacular scary feast and we had a variety of sweet treats for Trick or Treat.” Ted, Head of the International School
Many thanks to our students, teachers and staff for making this day memorable.
