London – the heart of the United Kingdom. The must-see city when visiting this country. The set for an endless list of movies, books and famous discoveries. A multicultural environment that combines classic and modern architectures, tradition, modernism, and fish and chips. The quintessence of British culture.
At d’Overbroeck’s International School, we believe that one of the best ways to experience the United Kingdom and British culture is through excursions and trips, and this is why we have a very busy activity schedule for our students throughout the academic year.
Therefore, it comes as no surprise that we consider London a must do trip for all our students during their first month at our school. Just an hour away from Oxford, the city of London is fascinating and we love how enthusiastic our students are when visiting it.
During our recent trip to London, our students enjoyed the following sightseeing route:
- Buckingham Palace
- Parliament Square
- Houses of Parliament
- Big Ben
- Victoria Embankment
- Trafalgar Square
- Convent Garden
d’Overbroeck’s International School students spent an entire day in London, discovering the city and its history.
The trip was a great success, with many students asking if we could schedule another visit in the near future!
