Excursions, activities and sports

We run an action-packed programme of social and cultural events.

This will typically include:

Excursions:

One half-day educational trip each week, relating to the theme of the week.

This could include a visit to the BBC TV studios, Design Museum or Globe Theatre in London; the National Space Centre in Leicester; or the BMW factory or Natural History Museum in Oxford, for example.

One full-day excursion to a place of interest in the UK such as Bath, Brighton, Bristol, London, Stratford upon Avon or Warwick. We make sure that your trips will help you put your language learning into action.

Activities: Barbeque, cinema evenings, concerts, punting, team building activities, theatre trips, traditional English afternoon-tea.

Sports: Adventure sports, badminton, basketball, cricket, dance classes, football, swimming, volleyball.

"The activities are all very different and you get to do many different things. They fit in very well to the theme of the week. One other good thing is that you always get a sport and a non-sport option, for example playing Cricket, Rounders or Football or having traditional cream tea or visiting a museum." (Jan Willem Scholten, Holland, Summer 2007)
