Distinctive Features

1. Expertise

Unlike many Summer Course providers, d'Overbroeck's College is a year-round organisation, with its own extensive premises. Read more about the College

We also benefit from the experience and knowledge of our International Study Centre staff, who specialise in teaching English to international students.

2. Innovative themes

As a student on our Summer Course, you will take part in lessons, activities and trips. But – unusually – we tie all these together via an innovative themed approach.

As a result, the things you learn in class will be expanded and reinforced by your activities and excursions. You will also be learning by doing, as well as through teaching.

3. Focused age range

We only take students between 14 and 18 years old – and specialise in teaching this group.

As a result, you will benefit from a course designed specifically for your age group. You will be amongst similar people to yourself, free of the distractions of much younger students, and lessons will be targeted at your level.

4. Fantastic central Oxford location

Based just minutes away from the centre of Oxford, you will find yourself in one of the UK's most beautiful and culturally rich cities. Read about our location
