Classes and teachers

Our classes

Our small groups of ten to twelve students per class allow our experienced, dedicated teachers to give you their personal attention. They will be able to answer your individual questions, and help with any specific difficulties.

Our classes are divided by ability, so you will be grouped together with students of a similar level. You can be sure that when you come to work in pairs or small groups on a particular project, you will be well matched.

You will also be put into a class with young adults of different nationalities, so that you can learn about their culture and way of life. You’ll make friends from all over the world!

Our teachers

Developed and led by our team of highly qualified EFL (English as a Foreign Language) teachers, our courses are not only designed to be fun and imaginative for the students, but also for the teachers. This means that they are 100% enthusiastic in their approach.

Our teachers have a great deal of EFL experience and are used to inspiring and motivating young adults. They are sociable, friendly people, with a wide range of interests outside the classroom – you will find their appetite for life is infectious!

Your lessons will be lively and interactive, and you will use the latest course books and authentic material such as articles, magazines, novels and film to support your learning.

"The style of teaching on the d'Overbroeck's Programme is very different from that of my classes in Germany. The teachers have so much enthusiasm for their subject. They really seem to love what they are doing" (Lukas, Germany, Summer 2007)

“The staff and students are very nice, kind, helpful and funny.” (Jan Willem, Holland, Summer 2007)
