Joe Brooke

Joe first started playing squash against his father at the age of 10. He soon discovered a natural talent and has for the last few years been playing at a very competitive level. He presently plays in four leagues: Oxfordshire, Hampshire, Reading and Surrey. Read more about Joe.

Harry Gaunt

Harry is an extremely able sportsman. His main interest is hockey and as well as being captain of the d'Overbroeck's Hockey team he plays as a striker for Bicester Hockey Club Mens team and Oxfordshire County under 18s. Read more about Harry.

Annabelle Hutt

Annabelle has been riding since the age of 2 and show-jumping since she was 7. She is a very keen rider and hopes to make this her future career. Presently she rides her horse, Surprise, with whom she has been working for the last two years. Read more about Annabelle.

Mansour Ahmed

Mansour Ahmed was one of the 42 students who gained 3 or more A grades in his A levels in 2009, and he's now reading Computer Science at Cambridge. Read more about Mansour.

Rosie Knowles

'The effect of Labour Party policy upon the UK class system' You'd be forgiven for taking this question to be university level at least. But it's actually the title of Rosie Knowles's extended project – which she's working on as part of the AQA Baccalaureate. Read more about Rosie.

Gidon Fineman

A prolific composer, Gidon holds the April Darling Scholarship for the Performing Arts. He's been with us since Year 9, joining the Sixth Form in 2008 from Leckford Place School.. Read more about Gidon.

Timea Suli

One of the College's first two Environmental Awareness Scholars (the other being Danielle Greenspan), Timea is helping us to make d'Overbroeck's greener. Timea is studying Politics, Economics, Philosophy and English, and joined us in 2008 as one of our new Environmental Awareness scholars.. Read more about Timea.

George Meagher

George Meagher took a gap year after his GCSEs at Magdalen College School, and went to a French boarding school. Not only was this his first time away from home - there was also the language issue. Read more about George.

Stasya Ng

Originally from Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, Stasya came to d'Overbroeck's after two years studying Music in Paris. She's taking A levels in Biology, Economics, History and Psychology - and, at the time of writing, has just been offered a place at Oxford University to read Psychology. Read more about Stasya.

Serena Boheimer

Having joined d'Overbroeck's from St Gabriel's School, Serena took A levels in Art, Chemistry, Maths and Photography. In September 2009, she starting an Art and Design Foundation course at her first choice University: Cardiff UWIC. Read more about Serena.

Rory Cleaver

Lower Sixth student Rory Cleaver went beyond the call of duty, earlier this year, when he found himself on the scene of an accident. When an elderly lady fell from her wheelchair on Oxford's Turl Street - breaking her nose - Rory immediately rushed to help. Read more about Rory.

Alistair Mitchell

Ali Mitchell left d'Overbroeck's in 2008, having gained five A's at A level – in Classical Greek, French, History, Japanese and Spanish. We caught up with Ali shortly after he received these results. Since we spoke to him, he's received an unconditional offer from Balliol College, Oxford, to read Classics and Modern Languages. Read more about Alistair.

Celeste Harber

Having gained straight A grades at A level in 2007 - in Art, English, Philosophy and Sociology - Celeste left d'Overbroeck's to undertake voluntary work in India. Read more about Celeste.

Scarlett MacLean
