Values and Approach

We believe passionately that studying can be stimulating and enjoyable as well as successful. Indeed we think that enjoying a subject is an important part of succeeding in it.

This means we teach in a way that is engaging.

  1. We want to help students to leap over academic hurdles as easily as possible and achieve standards they might not have realised they were capable of achieving.
  2. We value tolerance and individuality. We welcome students willing to try new activities, new subjects and willing to look at issues in a new way. We think that studying should be stimulating and that sixth form should be an exciting time providing valuable skills for university and a career.
  3. We encourage students to take more responsibility but are always there to help them to cope successfully with greater independence. We welcome their ideas and insights and provide an environment in which debate and discussion are always encouraged and other peoples' opinions are valued.

The best way for you to find out about our values would be to come and visit us - you are always welcome. All you need to do is telephone us to arrange a convenient time.
