Our Students

We are often asked 'What is a typical d'Overbroeck's student?' and are delighted to say there is no such thing. Students join us for a variety of reasons (to move on from school, to enjoy new subjects or to improve their academic performance) and from a variety of schools. Each one brings his or her own interests, talents and skills. This makes for a truly fascinating mix of individuals that combine to create a college environment that is fun, exciting and ambitious.

In total we have nearly 250 students in the Sixth Form split fairly equally in terms of males and females. Over 60% of our students are from the UK; the rest are from 20 countries around the world including Albania, Belgium, China, Germany, Italy, Russia, Spain and Thailand. Students join us from both independent and state schools and approximately half of the College is residential.
