Family accommodation is very flexible, allowing us to make arrangements that suit your requests and needs.

All our host family rooms are single, fully furnished and equipped with everything you need to live and work comfortably. If you have a specific request, such as access to the Internet, a piano that you may use, or special dietary provision, then we'll do our best to accommodate it.

Family accommodation varies considerably in terms of location, number of students, size of family and so on. All families are located in north Oxford, most within walking distance or a few minutes on the bus. The majority are offered on a half-board basis, meaning that breakfast and evening meals are provided. A few rooms are available to students over 18 years old on a self-catering basis. In these, you will either have your own kitchen, or share the family's kitchen.

Many families provide internet access, some have children and some have pets. It's up to you to tell us what you're looking for.

The families that receive our students have usually done so for a number of years. They are friendly, supportive and understanding without being intrusive. You will feel at home, but you will also have the flexibility and the degree of independence which you'd expect, as a sixth former.
