Admissions

The best way to understand our values and approach is to come and meet us. One option is to attend one of our Saturday Open Mornings. These take place once a term and are an excellent opportunity to meet students and Heads of Department and ask as many questions as you would like.

You might also want to come in for an interview on a normal teaching day. You can meet with Alasdair the Head of Sixth Form and again this is an opportunity to discuss with you what you are looking for in a sixth form and you can find out more about what we have to offer. During the interview we can discuss aspects of your academic programme and discuss boarding options if appropriate. You will be able to meet students and staff and it's another way of finding out how we do things. You should allow around an hour-and-a-half to two hours for your visit. Don't worry: this won't be an intimidatingly formal process. Of course, we will be interviewing you - but it's also an opportunity for you to get to know us, and for us to work out together if this is the right choice for the next stage in your education.

Following the initial visit, you would be very welcome to come and see us again to explore in greater depth, or perhaps to meet particular teachers or Heads of Department. We are also very happy to arrange for prospective students to spend a day or half a day sitting in on classes if they wish to.

Please email or telephone (01865 310000) and we will be delighted to arrange a tour. Alternatively, see a list of our open days.
