Rugby

The First XV rugby team comprises of Sixth Form players and a handful from year 11 at Leckford Place. The team has little time to gel at the start of the year before getting stuck into matches in term one. The strength in depth varies from year to year, but there are plenty of competitive fixtures to be played and the progression by the end of the season if obvious. Training takes place at Cherwell school playing fields on Tuesdays with matches normally taking place on Tuesday or Thursday. The team is coached by Head of PE at Leckford Place, Martin Procter as well as an assistant rugby coach.
