Death & The Egyptians

Collaborating with the Ashmolean

Inspired by workshops at the Ashmolean Museum, Students from Leckford Place School and the Sixth Form devised and performed Death & the Egyptians.

Telling a story of death and the afterlife, the piece featured mummification rituals, battles with demons, and the weighing of the main character's heart against an ostrich feather from the Goddess Ma'at's headdress.
