Accommodation

Academic success is not just about what you study or even the teaching. It also relies heavily on having a comfortable environment in which to live and study. Somewhere you can relax and somewhere you can work effectively. That's why we think finding our residential students the right place for them to live is so important and why we work so hard to get it right.

About 40% of our Sixth Form are residential, the rest live locally and attend as day students. College accommodation takes different forms, consisting broadly of a hall of residence and 2 college houses for girls, and family accommodation.

Having a range of different accommodation options gives us the flexibility to respond to the diversity of needs and preferences of students and parents. The comparison table on the right hand side may be downloaded for an overview of what we can offer. More detailed information can be found in each separate section.

Please note that we are not normally able to accept residential students who are below 16 years of age. In a small number of cases, we may be able to make an exception in the case of a student who will be 16 shortly after the start of the course.
