A level results 2010

Over a quarter of all entries achieved an A*, and a third of students gained all A/A*

Our proportion of A*s – 27% – was far in excess of the national average (8%) and the average amongst independent schools (18%, as published in the Guardian, August 2010).

An impressive tally of 13 students gained three or more A* grades, including two (Rachuta Ardkhean and George Liu) with no fewer than five A*s.

Subject highlights included

  • 57% A* in Economics, Further Maths and Sociology
  • 47% A* in Maths
  • 41% A* in Physics
  • 33% A* in Photography and Communication & Culture
  • 88% A/A* in Geography
  • 80% A/A* in PE
