Homework and study

Learn to manage your own schedule

In the Sixth Form more than ever before you'll be in control of your own work schedule. You'll have a considerable amount of work to do outside lessons – and it'll be necessary that you deal with this effectively.

We don't expect you to do this without support. You'll have regular one-to-one meetings with your Director of Studies, during which you'll discuss tactics for time management, and ensure that you're coping with your workload – and developing the ability to manage your own time.

Free periods

Every week, you'll have free periods. Much of the time, you'll use these to do homework or prepare for lessons – perhaps in the College library (right).
