Course structure

The following information relates to our 2008 courses. Information about our 2009 courses will be available later in the year.

With increasing competition for places at the most popular universities, the need for good grades at A level is more important than ever. Admission tutors now look for high levels of achievement at both AS and A level. Not only that but from an individual perspective gaining the best grades you can provides an important sense of personal achievement. Our revision courses are specifically designed to help you do your best you can in your exams.

On most revision courses at AS and A2 it is only possible to study one subject in a week. However we have specially designed our course to enable students to revise 2 subjects over 6 days. This allows them to get twice as much covered as they could elsewhere in a similar length of time. As a result students have more of their own time left after the course to build on the work done with us and to revise their remaining subjects. Our approach is also much more cost effective - to cover a similar amount of work on other revision courses would usually involve two weeks of courses and fees!

How do we do this? By developing courses that use all the time available to the full, focusing on the subjects and issues that really matter (no general study skills sessions, no general "how to revise classes"), by using experts that identify the key issues and by designing extremely intensive courses with a high degree of direct contact time. All of this saves you time and makes it possible to get more done in less time and for less money.

The six day course is divided into two parts (A and B), each lasting 3 days. This gives students the flexibility to:

Study two subjects at AS

OR

Study two subjects at A2

OR

Study one subject at AS and A2

Classes run from 9am through to 5.45pm. There are approximately 38 hours of lessons.

I have become much more confident with the subject and the revision notes have proved invaluable.
