Pastoral care

For students to flourish – to grow in confidence and to succeed in and outside the classroom – it's vital not only that they are taught in a stimulating, engaging and challenging fashion, but also that they receive support and encouragement, and feel valued and listened to.

A strong, highly structured pastoral system underpins and informs everything we do at Leckford Place. This means that students and parents know where they are and have regular, defined opportunities to discuss and reflect upon pastoral issues.

This structured approach is supplemented by an 'open door' ethos whereby any parent or student is welcome – at any time – to make contact with staff and discuss any issues.

Over the following series of pages, we'll take you through our pastoral systems in more depth.
