A family school
The Leckford Place community is characterised by its warmth, friendliness and inclusiveness. Whether you're pupil, parent or staff, you are part of a close-knit, family school.
An atmosphere of enthusiasm, shared purpose and comradeship pervades the school, from Year 7 up to Year 11. It's a large enough school for children to have a wide range of friends and peers, but small enough that everyone feels part of the community – and every voice is heard.
... and, amidst the many single-sex schools of Oxford, Leckford Place is distinctive for being coeducational throughout – and always has been. We think that this makes for a more natural and balanced environment.
Meanwhile, strong teacher-pupil relationships help to ensure that pupils contribute fully and openly in lessons – and allow us to ensure that every child's pastoral needs are being fulfilled.
Ultimately, there's only so much we can say about the environment at Leckford Place. For an insight into the views of those that matter – the students – why not read some of our pupil profiles?
