Truman Hunt
Truman is in Year 9 – and combines sporting panache with a talent for Classics...
How would you describe Leckford Place?
It is a friendly school with small class sizes. School dinners are good, and the Head is brilliant.
What do you do outside lessons?
I enjoy helping my granddad to refurbish a boat, and I also play rugby. I have been selected to play in the Oxfordshire County Development Squad.
What's different about Leckford Place?
You are treated as an individual and all of the teachers give you encouragement.
And what's been the highlight of your year so far?
Winning the Oxford Under 13 plate final for my rugby team, Abingdon RFU and being selected to play county rugby after only playing for one season. Also, winning the Classical Civilisation cup at last summer's awards ceremony.
