Parents Association Leckford Place School

PALS

Parents Association Leckford Place School is the name of our parents association which aims to provide parents with opportunities to meet and chat in a variety of social occasions.  PALS also plans to raise money for charity by organising parties, cake sales etc.  All parents of children at Leckford Place School are members of PALS and are welcome to attend any PALS event and indeed help to organise them!

PALS is keen to encourage all parents at Leckford Place School: to feel part of a school community by joining in as many enjoyable events as possible; to contribute in any practical way they can to further enhance the reputation of the school and to encourage other parents to consider sending their child to the school – for example some parents during the course of the last couple of years have been able to come to our Open mornings and chat to prospective new parents.   

We have had several ‘pot luck’ supper parties, held either here at the school or kindly hosted by one of our parents.  These are always enormous fun and well worth attending.  Last year, a sizeable group of us met at the Summertown Wine Café for an informative and very relaxed wine-tasting experience.

Our children have a wonderful time at LPS and we parents aim to too!  PALS Letters will be sent regularly to parents to ensure all are up to date with social or fund-raising events.   We do hope as many parents as possible will join in the fun.
