Pastoral care |

A strong and highly structured pastoral system underpins and informs everything that we do. It is important that every pupil should feel fully supported, on personal as well as academic matters, and that they always feel able to approach members of staff if there are any issues they would like to discuss. Each student is the responsibility of one of the team of form tutors, who work closely with each other and with the Head and other teaching staff. They are also, of course, readily accessible to pupils and to parents whenever they are not in the classroom. Tutor groups meet twice daily. In addition we believe in operating an ‘open door’ policy and parents should feel free to come to see staff either on a formal or informal basis to discuss any issue concerning their child’s education and welfare at the school. |
