The School does not wish to be narrowly selective on academic ability alone and we welcome pupils with a wide range of abilities and interests. Artistic, musical or sporting aptitudes or an active and well-informed enthusiasm in any worthwhile area are all very much taken into consideration in the assessment process. We are always pleased to see portfolios of work or to arrange for pupils to meet the Head of Music, Drama or Sport as part of the assessment. That said, admissions decisions will take into account the fact that our academic curriculum is geared towards pupils with the potential to gain a good set of results at GCSE and to progress to the Sixth Form in due course. |
