Guardianship |

![]() |
International students under the age of 16 when they start with us are required to have a legal guardian in the UK. A guardian is an adult over 25 years of age who is legally responsible for the student's welfare during their time in the UK, and who agrees to be responsible for the student when College is closed or in the case of an emergency. We strongly advise students who are 16 years or over to have a guardian as well. The guardian must be: A legally responsible adult (of 25 years +) Resident in the UK Appointed by the child's parents In some instances, the student may have friends or family living in the UK who can take on this role. In other instances, students use a guardianship agency. Please contact us for a list of guardian agencies who we recommend and work with on a regular basis. |
