Sport and Activities
Choose from a range of activities
Outside lessons, an important part of the GCSE Programme is the range of sports and activities we offer to students.
GCSE students play sport alongside British students from d'Overbroeck's Sixth Form on Tuesday afternoons.
We use excellent facilities at Oxford Brookes University, and many students represent the College in matches and competitions against other schools.
The following sports are currently available:
- Beginner Hockey
- Sculling / rowing
- Swimming (after half-term)
Performance, music and other activities
Other cultural and social activities take place on Thursday afternoons. In this time, students may be preparing for events such as the annual Winter Pantomime performance, Journalism and News Day and the International Arts Festival.
Many students also choose to take part in clubs and societies in the evenings, which include activities such as Debating, Enterprise club, Swimming, Dance and many more.
Below is a list of activities which our students are doing this year:
- ISC Art Club (theatrical work in preparation for the Panto)
- Chess (with Sixth Form)
- Bridge (with Sixth Form)
- Out and About Club (ISC only)
