The d'Overbroeck's Sixth Form is the UK's leading Independent Sixth Form with over 200 students studying for AS and A levels. We provide an excellent transition from school to university helping students gain the qualifications and skills to go on to succeed in their degree and careers. We have two teaching centres close to each other in North Oxford and near to the city centre. Our teachers are A level specialists helping students achieve inspiring results whilst also having the opportunity to take part in numerous sports, music, drama and other activities. This provides a rich sixth form curriculum, full of opportunity. The class size is never more than ten, enabling students and teachers to develop a highly effective working relationship based on trust and mutual respect. If you are aged between 16 and 19 years; are already a confident communicator with strong skills in written and spoken English; and have strong academic achievements to date, we may feel that you are ready to enter the Sixth Form directly to study A levels. You will be studying alongside fellow students from the UK, and so you will need to be able to adjust quickly to learning English in an educational system different to that of your home country, as the level of academic English will be high. Students considering A levels directly should have a level of around 5 to 5.5 in the IELTS academic test and appropriate qualifications in their own country.
