Katie Amiri

Form Tutor and English Teacher

Katie is an ISC Form Tutor and teaches English to both ISC students and international Sixth Form students. She has a degree in Modern Languages (German) and Linguistics from the University of Essex and is a fluent German speaker with a passion for languages.

After university, Katie completed her Trinity College London TESOL Certificate and mainly worked with young adults before moving to d'Overbroeck's. She helps with ISC Activities and runs a the College's successful Dance Club, teaching street, jazz and Latin dance to over 40 students.

Because Katie herself has studied and worked overseas she has a strong understanding of the needs of international students.
