Creative courses at Leckford Place

Creativity and fun. That's what lies at the heart of these courses, designed for children between the ages of 8 and 14.

Above all, we want participants to have a great time – but also to learn a lot in the process. And the idea is that, after a week packed with creative pursuits of many kinds, they will leave fired up with enthusiasm, impatient to do more.

This year, we have expanded our range of courses to offer something for every creative taste. Alongside our longstanding music course and the art course that we launched in 2009, we are now offering courses in Drama and Jewellery making. The four courses run simultaneously, which means that each child taking part must opt to do just one – offering them the chance to immerse themselves totally in the activity that most excites and inspires them.

What all these courses have in common is a lively and varied pace, paired with a hands-on approach: from day one, children will be throwing themselves into their chosen activity. And each course will culminate in an event, be it a performance or an exhibition, to which family and friends are warmly invited.
