Art course content

On this course, you'll have the opportunity to experience and experiment with a wide range of materials and techniques – with plenty of help, guidance and encouragement along the way.

During the course, you will be encouraged to experiment, explore and have fun. You will complete a series of art projects, building your skills and confidence as well as stoking your enthusiasm and creative imagination.

This will involve getting to grips an enormous range of materials and styles – which could include clay, mosaic, felt, glass painting, observational drawing, painting on canvas, mask-making, weaving, textiles, sculpture ... and more!

Each day's work will be structured around a different theme, technique and set of materials. In addition to the experience gained during the course, participants will therefore end up with an eclectic haul of work to take home with them at the end of the week.

The Exhibition

On the final evening of the course (Thursday 16 August) there will be an exhibition of work to which family and friends are invited. Please put this date in your diary!

Equipment and materials
